LABOR TRASHES SCRUTINY DURING 47TH PARLIAMENT
Parliamentary performance, scrutiny and productivity have plummeted under the Albanese Labor Government, new figures from the Parliamentary Library show.
“On every measure, the 47th Parliament, under a Labor Government, has performed worse than the 46th Parliament under a Coalition Government,” Manager of Opposition Business in the House Paul Fletcher said.
“Fewer questions answered, fewer bills passed, more question times cut short.”
The below table compares the performance of the 46th and 47th Parliaments (up to 29 November 2024).
